The hotel Kastel is located at the top of the ancient Motovun, and was once owned by the noble italian family Polesini.
This family had a very important role in the political, social, economic, cultural and scientific life of istria. After the second world war they left istria and went to italy.
1998 the Polesini palace was completely renovated. Rooms, restaurants, terraces and kitchen have been redesigned and the wellness center was built.
In the hotel there is one of 3 most exclusive rooms, which is called "Castellum" and is still in a baroque-style, with original stucco, which tells the story of the four seasons.
Almost every window opens a magnificent view of the landscape of central istria, the valley of the river Mirna and the famous Motovun vineyards. The hotel offers single, double and family rooms, which can be heated or partially air-conditioned.
The spa area offers everything for your well-being, whether in the indoor pool, sauna or a massage.
