Brijuni National Park

The Brijuni Islands - the most famous national park in Croatia.

Your trip begins with a ferry ride from the picturesque coastal town of Fazana to the largest island "Veli Brijun", where you will be welcomed and accompanied by a guide.

Explore the island with the slow train. Let the typical island vegetation, the unprecedented preserved mediterranean maquis and the picturesque sight of grazing deer, mouflon and axishirschen as well as the archaeological sites enchant you. You will also visit the bay Verige with remnants of the roman villa rusicae from the 1st century. a. chr. and the safari park, in which zebras, somali sheep, indian cow, a camel, lama and elephants live in a harmonious community.

In the excursion program is also a visit to the archaeological museum of the island included, which is located in a venetian castle from the 16th century, as well as the gothic St. Germanus church from the 15th century.
